Megan & Dahani didn't let the rain stop them from celebrating their love. These two tied the knot at the Historic Old Court house in Santa Ana, CA. Whenever couples are getting married at the court house and call us to inquire about wedding photography, they always start the conversation with "this is just a courthouse wedding". We don't care how big or small your wedding is, it is still your wedding day and it should be celebrated regardless if it is just the two of you or 500 people, we want to be there to document it. We couldn't be happier that Megan's godmother contacted A Shutter in Time Photography to photograph their big day. These two were so shy, they did not want to be photographed. Once we shewed all the family away and it was just us, they really became themselves and you can fell the love they have for each other in their wedding pictures. We couldn't be happier for these two. Congratulations!

Engagement Pictures Orange County
We are so excited to photograph Melissa & Patrick's wedding this October. We photographed her brother's wedding and it is such an honor to know that we did an amazing job that the family trusts us to capture another wedding day for them., Melissa is a huge fan of Halloween so since we have a Friday the 13th this year in October, she knew that had to be their wedding date. W cannot wait to see their Halloween inspired wedding. They have so many cute ideas it will be exciting to see them all come together. They are also really into games and play with other couples all the time. We knew we had to incorporate their board games into the session to match their fun personalities. Don't be afraid to bring your personality out in your engagement session. It really makes for a nice personal touch to your portraits.

Senior Portraits Orange County
We are so excited for the Class of 2017 Graduates. The beach is always a great setting for senior portraits. Senior pictures are some of our favorite sessions. These young adults are so excited and have such bright futures ahead of them. Congratulations Avery, we can't wait to see what the future holds for you.

Family pictures Huntington Beach
We just love photographing this family. This is the second family session we have had the pleasure to work with them. The twins as so sweet. They don't always get along, but they were good at pretending for their photo session. It is always important for us to catch all the relationships in a family portrait session. We love the photos with mom and her children and dad with the kids as well as the kids by themselves/together and of course the couples portraits. We always make sure to make mom feel extra special since most moms are the ones always taking the pictures, so often they are missed in front of the camera. Mom's always cherish the pictures we are able to capture for them especially the ones with just them and the kids.

Children Portrait Photographer Orange County
It was so great photographing this family session as it was baby Tori's first professional portrait session and she was celebrating her first birthday. I love how squishy she is, I could just pinch her all day long. She has cheeks for days :) The Huntington Central park is always a great location for a family portrait session. The scenery is always changing there, but it always makes for a beautiful backdrop.

Family Beach Portrait Session
The Robertson family just moved to Huntington Beach so the Huntington Beach Pier was the perfect location for their family portrait session. They are just loving their new city and all that it has to offer. I loved photographing this family to commemorate this big move in their lives. It was such an honor to be able to create family portraits to hang on their walls as art for their new home. I hope they enjoy looking at their pictures for years to come and will remember this joyous time in their families history. Welcome to Huntington Beach guys!

Family Portrait Photographer Huntington Beach
Camden is just too cute for words. He had so many good smiles for his family portrait session it made it hard to choose which ones were our favorites. He is such a sweet baby and we can't wait to see him again for his one year old cake smash session. He was so much fun to photograph, I'm sure we will get a ton of more smiles.
