 It was so great photographing this family session as it was baby Tori's first professional portrait session and she was celebrating her first birthday.  I love how squishy she is, I could just pinch her all day long.  She has cheeks for days :)  The Huntington Central park is always a great location for a family portrait session.  The scenery is always changing there, but it always makes for a beautiful backdrop.

Camden is just too cute for words.  He had so many good smiles for his family portrait session it made it hard to choose which ones were our favorites.  He is such a sweet baby and we can't wait to see him again for his one year old cake smash session.  He was so much fun to photograph, I'm sure we will get a ton of more smiles.

It is always so neat photographing extended families with multiple generations. Great-grandma just loved the kids and so did grandpa.  These girls are so lucky to have so many great people in their lives to love them.  It is always so fun seeing the interactions between kids and their elders.  Family portraits are the best gift to your children.  In the years to come they will be able to look back at these pictures and will know they were loved by so many as kids.

Chris is just so smitten with his daughter Venice, he just knew he needed portraits with her.  They always go to the beach on Sundays to watch the waves and the surfers he knew that was the perfect backdrop for their family pictures.  The two of them had so much fun just being themselves and it was a blast to photograph them in their element!

This is our newest session with the Lewis family.  We just love photographing them, these kids are too sweet.  We added Petey their Jack Russel to this session.  They just added a new pool this past summer to their backyard so we couldn't think of a better place for their family portrait session this year.  I know they were excited to share their pictures with their family and friend to show off their new dream pool.  Home sweet Home.

Heather & Adam are such a stunning couple and their wedding day went off with out a hitch.  They have such a sweet love story, they are 5th grade sweethearts!  So during their wedding portraits we made sure to capture the, "sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g"  They were so much fun to photograph. Their parents and wedding party also had a blast during our portrait session. Newborns are so sweet to photograph.  We get to document their first days of life on this earth.  I don't know what could be more rewarding then that.  This sweet angel was so squishy we just wanted to squeeze her cheeks.  Newborn portrait sessions are best scheduled between 7-14 days after birth.  Babies are really sleepy during the first two weeks and we can capture amazing newborn pictures during this time.  We love photographing "older" babies as well.  You can also sign up for our milestone package where we can help document the whole first year of life finishing it off with a styled cake smash session!

Little Kayin is just the cutest baby.  He thought I was the funniest photographer, he just couldn't stop smiling at me.  I love photographing newborn portrait sessions. The amount a patience it takes to capture these great photos is all worth it when you see the pure joy on the new parents faces when they see the pictures and the little expressions that we captured.  They only stay tiny for a short while so for newborn pictures we prefer babies to be 7-14 day new.  We will photograph baby at any age but in the newest days of life is when they will be the sleepiest and will curl up the tightest.

We love taking family portraits especially of generations.  I myself have five generations alive in my family, so I know the importance of these photos.  These three strong, beautiful women are celebrating life and some new accomplishments with family photos.  They know how important it is to document their relationships in life.  Studio portraits are a nice way to really focus on the people important to you.  I am so glad that they reached out to me to photograph them and that I could tell their story through my photography.

One of the most precious times in life is when a women is pregnant.  Candace definitely had the pregnancy glow, she is just stunning.  Pregnancy portraits are great for the whole family, not just mom and dad.  We love when the children come to the maternity session.  Big sister is an important job, so we like that they are getting prepared for that role :)
