Children's Birthday Portraits

Anela just turned two and she is just as sweet as the day she was born.  (I am biased since she is my first great-niece) My mom (her great-grandma) always makes the children in our family a doll and matching outfits for the kids when they turn two.  I think this one turned out really cute.  Don't forget to schedule your children's portrait sessions at all the important milestones in their lives, no matter how "old" they are getting :)

Long Beach Wedding Photographer

Aundrea & John just got married and we couldn't be happier for them.  There day was filled with love and laughter from all their closest family and friends.  We started taking pictures of them getting ready at a hotel, then we went to their Catholic wedding ceremony at a gorgeous church and we finished the day at the lovely Recreation Park in Long Beach.  

We were so excited to be referred to them from a couple we photographed earlier this year.  It is always important to hire wedding vendors who you trust, especially photographers because they are the ones who will be with you the entire day and capturing your memories.   Congratulations you two, we wish you many years of happiness! Heather & Adam are such a stunning couple and their wedding day went off with out a hitch.  They have such a sweet love story, they are 5th grade sweethearts!  So during their wedding portraits we made sure to capture the, "sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g"  They were so much fun to photograph. Their parents and wedding party also had a blast during our portrait session. Baby Mathew is here and OMG he's cute.  I love all of his fat roles.  He is just 8 weeks new in these baby portraits.  His newborn clothes barely fit him, he grew too fast.  I just love photographing babies of all ages.  We will capture your baby at any stage, even if your baby is past the age of "newborn photos".  We totally get it, your exhausted with the new baby at home and time just flies by.  No worries, we will still get some amazing baby portraits that you will be proud to hang on your walls.

We love photographing babies of all ages. 18 month portrait sessions keep you on your toes between the giggles and the pouts.  Mostly we just chase the baby around to get portraits of them doing what they want to do.  They are the boss of the sessions for sure.  Not sure when babies are toddlers but we love both stages of life.  The personalities of littles this age definitely come out in their portraits and we just love it.

Newborns are so sweet to photograph.  We get to document their first days of life on this earth.  I don't know what could be more rewarding then that.  This sweet angel was so squishy we just wanted to squeeze her cheeks.  Newborn portrait sessions are best scheduled between 7-14 days after birth.  Babies are really sleepy during the first two weeks and we can capture amazing newborn pictures during this time.  We love photographing "older" babies as well.  You can also sign up for our milestone package where we can help document the whole first year of life finishing it off with a styled cake smash session!

Little Kayin is just the cutest baby.  He thought I was the funniest photographer, he just couldn't stop smiling at me.  I love photographing newborn portrait sessions. The amount a patience it takes to capture these great photos is all worth it when you see the pure joy on the new parents faces when they see the pictures and the little expressions that we captured.  They only stay tiny for a short while so for newborn pictures we prefer babies to be 7-14 day new.  We will photograph baby at any age but in the newest days of life is when they will be the sleepiest and will curl up the tightest.

Little Malcom is such an adorable newborn.  His parents sure are in love with their bundle of joy.  Black and white newborn photos are some of our favorite, you can really focus on the baby and their sweet little faces.  Newborn portraits can be challenging so it is really important to find a photographer that specialized in baby photography.  Plus they will have all the good baby props too :)

We always encourage parents to be a part of the newborn session to capture this moment in their life.  You may be exhausted from this new little baby in your life, but that is all the more reason to be in the photos even if you don't feel the best. You will forget how tiny your baby felt in your arms.
